AJHL ANNOUNCES ALL-LEAGUE AND ALL-ROOKIE TEAMS
REGISTER SELECTED AS NORTH DIVISION ALL-LEAGUE DEFENCEMAN
The Alberta Junior Hockey League is proud to announce the All-League and All-Rookie Teams for the 2009-2010 season. The rosters for each of the four teams were selected by the General Managers and Coaches of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

* Unanimous Selection
Four players were unanimous selections to the North Division All-League and All-Rookie Teams. Forwards Zahn Raubenheimer (Grande Prairie Storm) and Cody Kunyk (Sherwood Park Crusaders) were unanimous selections to the AJHL North Division All-League Team. Dillon Simpson (Spruce Grove Saints) and Markus Gerbrandt (Fort McMurray Oil Barons) are unanimous nominations to the North Division All-Rookie Team. There were no unanimous selections to the South Division rosters.
The North Division All-League Team includes four AJHL Award Winners: Goaltender Vince Marozzi (2009-2010 CCM Top Team Goaltenders Award); Mathew Register (2009-2010 Outstanding Defenceman); Zahn Raubenheimer (2009-2010 Co-Scoring Champion); and Cody Kunyk (2009-2010 AJHL MVP). AJHL Rookie of the Year Dillon Simpson (Spruce Grove) was named to the North Division All-Rookie team.
Each member of the South Division All-League Team and North Division All-League Team were named to the 2010 Scott Safety AJHL All-Star Game in January 2010. Defenceman Dillon Simpson and forward Markus Gerbrandt were selected to the North Division All-Rookie Team and also participated in the 2010 AJHL All-Star Game. Goaltender Sam Brittain (Canmore Eagles) and defenceman Justin Tateson (Drumheller Dragons) represented the South Division in the 2010 AJHL All-Star Game and have been selected to the AJHL South Division All-Rookie Team.
Goaltender Sam Brittain has been named to both the 2009-2010 South Division All-Rookie Team and the South Division All-League Team. Brittain also represented the AJHL in the 2009 CJHL Prospects Game in December 2009.
Defenceman Quinn Sproule (Okotoks Oilers) and forward John Dunbar (Calgary Canucks) were both nominated to the 2008-2009 South Division All-Rookie Team and have now been selected to the 2009-2010 All-League Team.
